I am stating the obvious when I say that some of the things in the book are out of date, especially the events and venues. I tried to go to a flea market which was advertised as taking place every weekend, only to find out that it had changed to only once a month. If you buy this gude be sure to check with your hotel and/or the tourist office, which has moved, if the advertised events and venues are still being held. To find the tourist office just go to the advertised location and they'll point you in the right directio. It's a 5 minute walk from there.

Whether you are just visiting or living in Tokyo this book is quite handy. It has a good selection of places to eat, drink and visit. I have found most of the information accurate, some prices and opening times have changed but that is to be expected. My biggest disappointment is the the train map, not very readable. But at less that 1000yen this is a good buy and fits nicely into you bag unlike the full sized travel guides.
